So, for quite a while I've wanted to try out the Swedish police livery on a Crown Vic (Sort of on my bucket list - Haha) and I finally had the time to do it - And I must say, it looks good with an all-blue Liberty. -
FHP's unmarked Crown Vics - Nice and simple as they should be.

Vehicle-related crashes are the leading cause of death for on-duty, law enforcement officers, nationwide. Hence the reason the Alderney Highway Patrol (AHP) decided to update their vehicle liveries and add two reflective striping on the right and left side of the tail of their cruises and high-visibility paint - Enhancing the visibility of the cruiser for other motorists. Spoiler -
Awesome! The Caprice is my favourite "new generation" cruiser out there. Sarasota County SO's been using them for a short while and I love them :)

Sorry, do not intend to hijack the thread, just my curiosity. Is there a reason why they're not using spotlights? Just curious, a spotlight on a cruiser is something I consider as "standard" and all the LEO-vehicles here use spotlights

It's not just the culture with the British police, let us not forget the survey that the Metropolitan Police took a couple of years ago were more than 2/3 said that they did not want to carry weapons regularly/on patrol. I think that they should keep their culture and method of policing, if they really needed guns they would had asked for it already (?). Edit: Forgot to put in the word Survey
