Note I have tested this for you, but has not worked. So my guess is there is no way to change the controls at all, but wait for a developer response, and see what they say.

I think you can edit them in a FirstResponse notepad file. If you go to your GTA 4 Main Folder, then click Scripts Folder you should see that notepad file, then you can change it. I am not 100% sure if this works you will need to wait for a Developer, etc to get here or make a back up of it and try to change the B key

Wow very nice video. I must say after so many days of playing LCPDFR, I have only encountered prostitution once. Of course never ended in the suspect running or the girl pulling out assualt riffles lol.

Yeah I also tried this program and works like a charm. I never knew something like this was created at all. Good to know this is out now, comes in really good handy for a lot of people having slow down issues. I also have a more of the top of the line PC, but still use this.

You know this game looks incredible. From the graphics, to the AI, to everything else. I must say this game will blow a lot of games away that are in the marekt right now.I can't wait to hear more information on this game because I will definitely get this game. The whole part of hacking on your phone is phenomenal. As soon as I seen him hack the traffic lights and the car accidents, to me that was cool. That does not even look close to GTA 5. I also agree with Harper it all does look animated, and the graphics don't seem that good. I don't think we will see something on GTA 5 besides it's trailer.

Nice video. I am just wondering how you get ELS to work so good with the cars. Like if I have back up my ELS lights freeze up on my car while his flash, but secondarys work fine. Now all you need is a intro to the video just like the real cops and it will look way better, but good first video, hope to see more from you ;)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to play the LCPD:FR mod you're best bet is to buy it from a retail store (Gamestop, Walmart, BestBuy, Etc) or people say the Steam version work, due to the fact that when people get it from Impulse the mod does not want to seem to work correctly or at all. There has been 2 threads about people having trouble, so I just wanted to put it out their so people know and don't waste thier money on it. Just a friendly reminder. ;) *Sorry if this is in the wrong section*

It may not be. I am guessing it is the game itself from Impulse. The link I mentionted in my other post, According to they guy he bought the disk version of this game and he said it worked 100% for him. I would just suggest you buy the game at a local store this way you know it will work. Something is just causing the mod not to work correctly.

Try making a folder in you're Program Files and call it Rockstar Games, then try to install GTA 4 there and see if it works. I am not sure but it might work, you can test it and report it here. It seems everyone who has the 2K version of this game seems to have problems with it.

That problem is some what similar to this problem The only thing I can tell you to do is buy a disk version of this game unless someone can find a fix for it, which one has not been found yet.

Just out of curiosity you did not change the police computer to a new model/design, etc right. I ask this because some people did make new computers for the police cars. Also for the most part is the mod running on a pretty much clean version of the game, besides having ELS and TrafficFlow. I just find it strange because I never had this problem before everything shows fine for me every time.

I would suggest buying a disk version of this game. When I bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas from Impulse I noticed they made a 2K folder and then they put the game in that folder. As for what could be in his directory, could be something causing the mod to not work properly. I know when I bought Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas they had quite a bit of files in there that were not related to the game at all and it was their own thing. So my guess would be maybe one of the files that Impulse gives you is causing it to not work properly. I am not sure but that's my guess.

You need to complete that mission first before you can play the mod. After taking you're cousin around he takes you to a safe house. After that you can leave the safe house, go down the street and there is a police station where you can go on duty. I am just assuming you are trying to play the mod while you're on the first mission, as it seems what you are describing.

That would be cool if it was released on his Birthday, which my opinion is they might be setting a goal and releasing it on his Birthday, not quite sure but just my opinion. Aside from the developers not worrying about the police AI I think if Rockstar made a police game it would be awesome

Even though the regular cop car is replaced with a Lambo, it all honesty it still goes the same speed as the regular ones. They don't seem faster at all. I am not sure if it's just because of the speed the car was set at or what. I cannot remember the siren name. When I get a chance I will look it up for you and provide you with a link.
