It is more than likely that you have set Notepad as the default program to open these types of files. It doesn't actually affect the files as they still keep the correct file type and opening it will either open some sort of text or will tell you that it is unable to open that file type. However as you don't need to open them, this should present no issues when installing the modification.

I'll probably be getting the same feeling soon'ish enough. I'm upgrading from a GT705 to a GTX970.

I really don't see them making the whole of the US. Even if they where to make it at the much smaller rate. Just look at the size of your game folder for GTA V, now imaging GTA VI with a lot more cities, you'd need like 3TB's just to install it, then the patches would murder you.

We do not allow vanilla files from games to be distributed over the forums, these files are copyrighted and distributing them would be considered piracy. If you have the game on steam, you can more than likely delete the files, then verify the files using the options in Steam. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

Generally this issue resolves itself and is only temporary so if it happens, just leave it for a while and then try again. If you try now it should more than likely allow you to upload it.

Maybe, just maybe you can find and go through an excruciating process to do this, that and the other, you can end up with this. Terence was never really right when it came to the news.... I'm still touching up the Breaking News and all, it's just extremely boring doing so.

Well, Grand Theft Auto Online has the Breaking News overlays for your screen when you are spectating players. However if they are being used on Single Player its possible that someone has found the image file for the overlay and has just edited it over images on Photoshop or something along those lines.

Hello. What Grand Theft Auto is it for, as the modification process differs from game-to-game with the Grand Theft Auto series.

Have you tried logging in and out, doing so would kill and then start your session again so could possibly resolve your issue. This is just a guess though, it may not work.

It's quite possible it's not actually a mod but instead a radio being live-streamed in the background or something along those lines.

It is possible something could of crashed without registering, or you have another mod which is conflicting with LSPDFR. If it is a thing which continuously happens though, I'd suggest making a topic that way whatever is causing the issue can be found.
