  3. Hehe :) thanks :) I love the Industrial area! Just perfect for some off duty rollin' :) Just don't tell anyone at work!:)
  4. Had some time off before my shift started.. took my car for a ride in the industrial park.. Hope no one saw me..
  5. Might try it :) Would be nice feel safe walking out the door of my cruiser :)
  6. Yeah, but would be better if it were in the mod itself :) Less mods to install, and less bugs :) And officers should have the ability to at least stop vehicles :) But GTA is all about fear :) Thats why most of the drivers either freak out and ram you to the moon and back, or just ragequit their cars :)
  7. http://www.lcpdfr.co...-modifications/ And there are alot on www.gtapolicemods.com and http://www.gtainside.com/ too
  8. You should have shot the other taxidriver for just appearing from nowhere and trying to pass on right side :) Will do :)
  9. Hmm.. it would be nice to have the ability to stop vehicles, redirect them or make them drive around the squad car when stopped on the streets.. Its a risky business leaving the vehicle for a traffic stop :)
  10. Looks like that taxi has been in rough waters :) Nice video :) Looks like the other taxi needs a lesson too :D
  11. Computing build :) Win 7 Enterprise SP1 64bit Gigabyte EX58-UD3R in a CoolerMaster HAF 932 Chassis Intel i7 920 BloomField @ 4.2Ghz with CoolerMaster V10 Fan 12GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 @ 1600Mhz Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB System Disk Crucial 256GB 2.5" SSD @ Sata 3 :( Need a new Mb :) and a Samsung SyncMaster T260 monitor.
  12. Its a good idea to read some posts in the forum beforehand :) Lcpdfr is a mod for GTAIV.
  13. Joey.. try the manual that comes with the game? Sharp. have you tried searching for the savefile? If the game starts and you have saves present. it should be there somewhere. You might have the appdata folder hidden. thats default in Windows. chosse show hidden and system files, and you will find it :)
  14. I think the savegames are located in : x:Users(username)AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
  15. Graphics drivers i guess you will find on either ATI.com or NVIDIA.com and choose the Windows version you are running .. try to install the latest driver. Sometimes drivers in Windows can get out of hand.. For example if Windows Update is turned on. If there is a bad memory stick, it should affect more than just GTA. Laggy desktop, bluescreen or fail when copying f.ex. It could also be overheating? Family pc's dont get the magic touch of a vacuumcleaner too often ;) But it sounds very strange that the game suddenly started to lag.
  16. I would vote for the GTX 570 :) Even if it is a notebook! :P
  17. Do you have Microsoft .net Framework 4 Extended?
  18. Updated your graphics card drivers lately? or it could be a problem with bad memory sticks? Had a bad memory stick here one day, that gave me the same problems.
  19. And you can use Adobe Premiere, and compress to Flash movie.. Works well :) and gets the file down!

Norwegian Police Siren SFX ------------------------ Open up SPARK IV, and use the browse function. Browse to "GTAIV/pc/audio/Sfx/" and find a file called "resident.rpf" Double click the file in SPARK IV, and a new window will pop up with a line on the left side named "RESIDENT". Click this, and all the audio related .ivaud files will show on the right side. Select HORNS.ivaud, and click EXPORT to backup the file somewhere on your computer. Than click IMPORT, and in the browse window, choose the HORNS.ivaud file provided in this archive. Then click Open. And then SAVE in SPARK IV, and you're good to go :) Remember to backup. SparkIV can be a bitch sometimes when it comes to working with files! If you get an error, exit the program, and try again. Firsty bazerave(at)online.no
  20. You could try to edit the 10 of the 20 cars to POLICE3 or POLICE4 to see if it does spawn any of them at all.. :) That would confirm it :) Yeah, it should say GTAIV or GTAIV EFLC in compatibility, not Newer Versions :)
  21. Might not be compatible with EFLC... There is no info in there. but seems like its only for GTAIV, looking in the .INI file, and the vehicle names.. I use it on my GTAIV 1070, and works great there :\
  22. It should work with Traffic Flow V5 R2. I have several hi poly cars installed, and it works fine.. Of course you often see the same cars when you mod your game.. i dont think there are any better workaround than this.
  23. Of course :) Just have to find some audio i can use to put together some :)
