Model by BritishPoliceMods Texture by Corelone / Norpolice123 ----------------------------------------------- Put it out here, since it has been requested, and its nowhere to be found anyMoar on internet :( All copyrights to the owners :) Replaces any policecar, but settings here is for the POLPATRIOT only. ------------------------ Go to your GTA folder, and inside " GTAIV\pc\models\cdimages\ " you will find vehicles.img. Open the file with SPARKIV. Then import the included files. ( They can be renamed to fit another vehicle too, but i use it on the polpatriot ) Handling : --------------------------------------- Locate the files "Handling.dat and "Vehicles.ide" in " GTAIV\common\data\ " Then change the line POLPAT in handling.dat to: POLPAT 1500.0 0.2 85 0.0 -0.05 -0.5 0.3 6 0.243 1.0 220.0 0.9 0.70 0.9 38.0 1.45 1.6 15.0 0.12 0.47 2.8 2.2 2.2 0.10 -0.13 0.0 0.51 1.0 1.0 0.8 1.5 0.0 870000 440010 0 0 And then in vehicles.ide, change the line POLPATRIOT to: polpatriot, polpatriot, car, POLPAT, POLPAT, VEH@LOW, VEH@LOW_LE2_RI2 100, 999, 0.2450, 0.2450, 0, 5, 1.0 ,0, ext_gang+ext_all+ext_strong -Firsty bazerave(at)online.no

Replacement Window Decal for Corelone/Norpolice123 Uniformed VW Passat. ------------------------ Go to your GTA folder, and inside " GTAIV/pc/models/cdimages/ " you will find vehicles.img. You have to replace the original ped textures as described in the Readme file. Just make a backup of the componentped.img file, and open the other one in SPARK IV and find and replace the texture files :) Just remember to replace all variants of skins, or there will be some cops running around with default skins, and someone running around with the new ones :) Lower part texture is the same for almost every model, so if the texture file is named Lower.png, it means its "universal" and can be used for ALL lower texture files on that Ped. Most other Ped's have several liveries and those files need to be in the right spot for the game to render it proper. and sometimes SPARKIV does not save textures you have imported, and you have to re-import them.. Hate it, but its a SPARKIV glitch.

Well i got it to work with several other cars :) Just remember to rename them as they are in carcols and handling .. Some of the GTAIV names are kinda blurry to me.. Rockstar have alot of different names in these files :O

If you use ELS you can get siren and lights on whatever car you like :)

Icelandic Police Skin-pack for GTAIV ------------------------ Go to your GTA folder, and inside " GTAIV/pc/models/cdimages/ " you will find componentpeds.img. Open this file with SPARK IV, and use the SPARK IV filter to find : m_m_fatcop_01_wtd m_y_cop_wtd m_y_cop_traffic.wtd m_y_nhelipilot m_y_swat and import into these the respected files located in the folders in this archive. FatCop and TrafficCop uses only Lower and Upper that replaces all diff uniforms. -Firsty bazerave(at)online.no

Open up SPARK IV, and use the browse function. Browse to "GTAIV/pc/audio/Sfx/" and find a file called "resident.rpf" Double click the file in SPARK IV, and a new window will pop up with a line on the left side named "RESIDENT". Click this, and all the audio related .ivaud files will show on the right side. Select HORNS.ivaud, and click EXPORT to backup the file somewhere on your computer. Than click IMPORT, and in the browse window, choose the HORNS.ivaud file. Then click Open. And then SAVE in SPARK IV, and you're good to go :)

You need to do cd C:GTAMSI in the command prompt :) Not cd C:GTAMSImsiexecTitleUpdate.msi C:GTAUpdate :)

Could be that the GFWL service is having difficulties at this time :) Try again in some time. Or try to deactivate Windows User Access Control and Firewall or any other Portblocking Software if you have any, and try :)

To recap it in a simplified version. 1. Put the GTA IV Update MSI file in a folder. For example " C:GTAMSI " and then Create a new folder named for example " C:GTAUPDATE " 2. Open up the CMD by doing " WINKEY+R " and typing " CMD " , in the Commandline window type " cd C:GTAMSI " and then type : " msiexec /a nameofupdate.msi C:GTAUPDATE " 3. Then copy all the files from " C:GTAUPDATE " folder into the GTAIV Folder most likely located at " c:program files ...somewhere " overwriting the gamefiles with the new updated ones.

Thats right. There are several users that post on Youtube how to install the mod, and how to fix it :) So im sure you will find the path hybrid3030 :P But i, tired of all the negative comments every time some newcomer ask a question in here.. At least from people that has Developer and Community Member titles.. Even though you get tired of simple and sometimes stupid questions, well.. Keep the cool, and see the positive in helping newcomers nevertheless.
