I was reading up on how to edit the weaponinfo.xml file earlier and ya.....needless to say, what resulted from that was rather SICK. The MP5 is now an MP5 on steroids LOL I'm uploading a video now and once it's done I'll post it.

I'm working on something with a gun that replaces the M-4....add me on here and GFWL, and I'll get back to you on this. I THINK I might be onto something truly epic heh UNREALISTIC....but epic I'm using SamForrester for everything just fyi :)

I just got the GAU-19 which replaces the Desert Eagle and all I can say is that sucker REALLY makes it rain lead! O.O still lookin' for a better sniper rifle though, or at least to know what the name is in weapons.img found this one which works pretty good :-) but, if you find one you like, please do pass it along and I'll try it out (only fair, right?)

when you activate the weapons cheat (either one gives you the same sniper rifle).....what is the name of that weapon in the weapons.img file? I need something a TAD more powerful lol

Let's just hope they don't do it with GTA V. Wasn't yellin' at LCPDFR. They have no fault what so ever. That all lies with Rockstar and Microsoft. IF it weren't for LCPDFR, my game wouldn't be working currently. oh and btw, Harper......this is one of the advantages to waiting to buy a game. Plenty of add-ons for it, and quite a few bugs have been worked out.

Sorry if I don't keep up with the GTA Series...... Uh currently quite a few now that I got it to where it doesn't crash. ELS, LCPDFR, Texas DPS Vehicles, FireFighter767's Pierce Dash Engine & Truck, an LAFD Ambulance, Texas State Troopers Uniforms, and Cpt. MacMillan's Whelen 295HF100 Siren. runs fine though, now that I made the changes to the ELS.ini file. Lost the default vehicles.img file though lol forgot to copy & paste rather than drag & drop when trying to troubleshoot my problems. I still say it's a royal pain in the ass to install the game. This makes me even LESS pleased with Microsoft as a gamer. Was already displeased that they weren't going to make any more Flight Simulators after FSX. I've played nearly every version of that game since it originally came out on the 5.25" floppy disks. On a side note...looking back to the days of the original Microsoft Flight Simulator, it's really quite amazing how far they've come in graphics quality.

I already had latest of everything either installed or on-hand. ELS was the problem. got it taken care of :-) uhhh I did C & E, I think it was on that one thread (you know which one I'm sure), and that took care of it. NOW If people would learn to freaking drive and get the HELL out of My way, we'd be all set! LOL On another note....WHY must the damn women be so predictable??? Seriously though, I needed that laugh (STILL laughing btw). thanks! I'd give you two rep points IF I could for that! :-) I'm just so royally pissed off cuz I'm TRYING to figure out exactly what it is that is making GTA crash. I'm starting with a FRESH install, backed up the ORIGINAL vehicles dot whatever file and the file containing the sounds and am SLOWING adding stuff. ELS functions (though not with the default vehicles obviously lol), as does LCPDFR, which is some progress. I'm starting to wonder IF It's not the vehicles I installed (I have the TX DPS pack, but only installed the Tahoe (replaced the Patriot)) for the simple fact that it's big, it's bad, and if you get in My way..I can, and WILL run your @$$ over (as many a pedestrian has found out the hard way). Thoughts? (edit: anyone ever tell you that you're a smart ass? LOL)

USED to have a PS2 and N64...but for some odd reason they've vanished......

Can someone PLEASE give me ONE good reason WHY Microsoft has to go and make installing a game they didn't even make a ROYAL pain in the ass???????? I'm SERIOUSLY to the point where I'm ready to say to hell with the GTA series after this. Never before have I ever had so many problems installing a game (even without mods)

I removed the cruisers from the save spot....and no problems since :-) this is my first time actually owning and being able to play the game period lol been at this for a few days now :-)

Gonna have to assume that it's caused on MY ened by a modded car (the police vehicles) in the safe-house save spot. the only vehicles I have installed are the Texas DPS Pack, and the Pierce Dash Engine and Truck. I don't go on duty often. I'm tryin to get further in the game to unlock more stuff before I do more on-duty stuff :-) I just checked my PreLoadAllModels line and that was set to true. so perhaps this is happening because It's changed all the police vehicles AND the Fire Dept ones (minus medic)?

I'm curious IF it isn't because I have LCPDFD installed.....

One thing I've noticed that is consistent is that when I blow stuff up via the Rocket launcher (which is great for when you want chain reaction explosions lol), and then go shoot stuff up with any other weapon, for some reason the game crashes. Next time it does this, I'll try to get a screenshot of the window that comes up w/ the error message.

+1 as well! THANK YOU! MY question is, which Saitek Controller do you have? I've got an X45 HOTAS (but only really plan to use the stick. Throttle's gonna collect dust til I get my damn copy of FSX Gold back).

IRONIC thing is...I have TWO PS2 Controllers....but my PS2 Console is MIA. go figure eh? ALSO got N64 Controllers (yes, I'm a TAD old school lol), and a game..YET....my N64 Console is MIA. Ask Me if I'm happy about that! NOW, IF someone could SOMEHOW manage to get me my copy of FSX Gold Edition back from my friend who borrowed it a while back, I'd be THRILLED -.- I've been trying to get it back with no luck for a couple months now.
