This evening, at about 04:00 PM, LSPD units were involved in a high speed pursuit by four armed suspects in a van. The chase started in Cypress Flats and continued out of the metropolitan area of Los Santos involving three LSPD units, one NOOSE team and four LSSD interceptors. 

As the driver,a woman, left the Freeway entering Union Road, she lost the control of the vehicle, crashing in a canal. 

Accordingly to LSPD, the passenger was ejected through the windshield and died later, on ambulance, enroute to the hospital.

The other three suspects engaged a shootout with officers and were killed. Two LSSD officers were injured and a police car was badly damaged.
