This is like perfect... having the charger and the Tahoe, with an amazing looking crown vic.. what else could you possibly could ask for.. But are these models ever going to be released soon?

Yes. Now that a lock feature has been released and works. They will have a release date to be set very soon.

just my 2 cents but the lock is only used if you made the cars from scratch. If u converted them YOU DONT OWN THE RIGHTS FOR THAT MODEL and can not lock them.

Actually you can! Thats the whole point is if they got the mod authors unlocked version with permission from a previously locked model, then they are to be expected to be relocked.  Your entire argument makes no sense... you yourself try to convert a iv vehicle to a V one that actually works correctly, if he's made changes to it, its now his of course with due credits to the previous mod authors... so he has a right to change it how he would like.

I disagree, it is his work because he had to actually convert and re-build the vehicles. As long as he gives credit to the creators of the original parts he should be able to, and can, freely lock it. It's not as if zmodeler has a magic "convert" button. He actually spent time on working on this and should be allowed to lock this.

The only way games can use the model/s is they buy the rights to use them. All the "Converter" is doing is ripping the model from a game that has legal right to use them. but the "converter" has no permisson from sayed game company to convert them. thus YOU DO NOT LEGALLY OWN THE MODEL AND CAN NOT CLAIM AS YOUR OWN.

But you can, an alterations to the model therefore make it his own, as long as the original person is credited. Also the original models weren't locked so they can therefore be considered  public domain. Especially if the original author gave him permission then he has everyright to relock the model unless the original author requests completely otherwise.

Also, if possible in the future after the first release... would it be possible for you to make some LAPD rims for the CVPI! If not thats fine, I'm just looking forward to it all.

ok im done with this if you cant wrap your head around the conversation.  Your not worth my time arguing about this when I know the rules and regulactions about copy right.
