I'm not too sure about the LEDs with 98-01 hubcaps. It seems too modern, since most PDs didn't begin using LED technology until 2005+.

Perhaps a halogen dashlight or strobes instead?

PDs will retrofit older cars when spare equipment is available, but most PDs don't have that luxury, and instead spend that money on training, officer equipment or newer cars. As far as the video, having a budget that places #48 when compared to the best funded militarys helps the NYPD a lot.

I'd still think it would look better if you turned it into a newer model street package with 05 or 09 hubcaps.

But it's your car though, so ultimately it's up to you. 

The video you posted demonstrates both strobe and halogen-based lighting, PoliceWag.  No LEDs appear to be present.

bxbugs model is very tiny..crown vics are big cars..ive actually driven and rode in one
