Toronto Police

Featured Replies

I am starting up a Toronto Police clan for casual gaming, and I am looking for some starting members.

I don't have a website right now, but that is still in design, and will come soon. There is a computer system in the works (a lot of this website is just a modified version of the old Calgary website I created).

Members can become dispatchers and choose when they want to dispatch, or play. Dispatchers are not required to run the game.

We do have a TeamSpeak server for communication.

The current mods are as follows (subject to change):

Items marked with a * are mandatory for play

LCPD:FR* (DUH)

Dispatch Assistance (DAS)* (For callsign and location)

ELS V5/V6* (for lighting untill Illumination 2.0 is released)

Simple Fuel Mod (adds realism)

Simple Native Trainer (Helps with spawning cars/weapons)

Toronto Car Mod* (This is so we can all see the same cars (Toronto Members only requirement, casual gamers can use their own cars)

VDH Tow Service (this is for towing of cars. Mode must be set to 2.)

Toronto Police Skins* (Toronto Members only requirement, these are currently in construction)

Toronto Siren* (Not the best, but will have to do for now, sorry).

We also welcome non-members to come on our server and play with us, as long as you have the mandatory mods less the Toronto Police member requirements. (So you can keep your own cars and sirens)

Dispatchers will not be in game, but instead run the computer system from outside the game in a web browser. Officers will be able to go in and file reports (in game via Steam or Xfire browser, or out of game via web browser).

This is for more serious players, and competent speaking of the English language is required (so everyone can understand you). We will have some training for officers, and also for dispatchers. I will work with officers and dispatchers to help make the computer system as user friendly as possible.

You will receive callouts via LCPD:FR, and dispatch will use the computer software to update your status, and help to create a log of your activities in order to help when you go to file your report later.

If anyone is interested please visit out TS server @ 207.161.44.135:9987

Our website is located at http://torontovirtual.clanteam.com you can now apply and for members the membership section is working. Computer database is semi-operational, and is still in a BETA mode.

We have been playing with mixxed cars, and the crashes are at a minimum (on my end), the only most noticeable increase in crashes came after I installed ELS.
