After the rgsc update ragehook plugin just is just stuck on the "Launching game via steam". It's been 20 mins it's stcuk and it responds too (eg: configure button, closing it.). Please help! And any idea when will scripthook V be updated and will I have to remove all my mods and scripthook v in order to run the game?

Hi,

 

You can still use LSPDFR. Any plugins like ELS or any trainers that you have won't work until ScriptHook V is updated.

 

Have you installed all of the new LSPDFR files and RPH files? Make sure these replace the old files. 

 

Also before you launch the game do the following.

 

Go into OpenIV -> Mods folder -> Edit mode -> Check the Green Banner.

Make sure you remove ScripthookV.dll and dinput8.dll. You will no longer be able to use SHV-Scripts, like: ELS, Trainers unless you use the alternative: AsiSupport.

well I have replaced ragehook and lspdfr files with the latest patch files. Well it still is stuck. And I didn't even get any error for scripthook to update it which is quite unusual. Yet it is stuck on that screen.

You are saying that the game is not crashing per say but just closing directly after launching?

Try launching GTA V vanilla and see if that works.

yep the game isn't crashing here's a pic. But neither has ragehook freezed or you know it's responding

I got an error from rockstar launcher that I don't have file integrity

moreover rage hook was still stuck on the same. I left my pc after I gtg reply and when I returned It's still stuck over there

I don't believe so. Although don't quote me on that.

 

Right now your focus is to get the game working again. It could be that you have some corrupted files in your game. Losing mods are the least of your worries right now as the vanilla version of your game is not working.

well it said 15 of my files are gone and now I'm downloading 1.1GB omg, does any mod do that? Or maybe I accidentally did that!

 

well now my steam is crashing, bad day for me! 😭

Once you are satisfied that your vanilla game is working I would advise you re-download the manual installation for LSPDFR and replace any files it asks you to replace. This is simply to confirm everything is installed as it should be.

Sure it's a very very bad day for me but is there any way I can run the game without steam? I guess I downloaded the missing files (dunno steam crashed and would not open too).

If you have the steam version then you will need to use steam.

 

Once you have fixed the issues you are having with steam try the above suggestions I had for GTA V.
