Having some issues with the game crashing. At first it started out as when i'd load the game, the screen will come up, it will load rage and gta, but then screen goes black. I can still hear audio like the game is running, but I am unable to see anything. Then, I'll attempt to it the settings cog to see if i accidentally put it in windowed or full screen or directx11 or whatever else is on those tabs i cant remember them all...just remember those ones from the old version and well..anywho...yea just get frustrated. I really wish i was as computer smart as most as my friends and family think I am LOL. Just because  I like using tech...doesn't mean i understand it all. Does your GTA V load up fine on it's own (Vanilla GTA V).

It loads, however after a few seconds, it locks up and freezes the entire computer. Even when i ctrl-alt-del and open task manager, or try and alt-tab to another window, the screen stays either black, or stays right on whatever part that is on the screen at the time. I'm validating the files now to see if that fixes anything. I just have windows defender on my computer.

Ok,

 

That sounds like something along the lines of corrupt game files.

 

Try validating your game files and see if you can then launch GTA V vanilla. 

 

If GTA V launches fine, try then launching LSPDFR. If it still freezes please try disabling your antivirus.

So...validated the game, restarted vanilla version, ran good. Did a benchmark test, but graphics still seem....off to me a little bit? Hard to explain but, its all working fine now. So on to fixing my key bindings so i can play the game again! Thanks for your help! Ugh not looking forward to this part LOL

Sorry for posting in this old thread - didnt seem to have posted my own in the right place - so delete if not relevant here!! 

 

I have lspdfr installed and everything worked fine until yesterday - game loads up fine in vanilla and can play with no issue - with ragepluginhook i enter and it loads up fine also loads the plugins installed fine - then i enter settings in the pause menu to change the screen format and it just freezes and crashes. I had some new plugins installed yesterday and that might have been it. 

 

 PLEASE HELP! 😄
