anyone know how to configure the / to turn on lights without the siren to a different key? for some reason it doesnt work for me and it might be because i dont have numpad on my laptop...ive looked in the lcpdfr ini file and all over google for this problem and cant find it

Are you talking about the '/' key because laptops should have it just look for a small '/' on one of the keys around the right side of the keyboard the colour should match the 'fn' key

is it by the enter key?

it will be in different places for each key, so it will be hard to say for sure, your just going to have to experiment, if you have a numpad on your keyboard it might be above that, otherwise it might be bound to another key, and you might have to play with num-lock to actually make it work (we had to do the same thing for my friend because the / key is the walk/run key on WoW, and his button required num-lock off in order to register it).

My laptop doesn't have a num pad, even an embedded one that requires the FN key. So I can't use non-els setups due to not being able to activate just lights. Another reason I can't wait for Illumination 2.0!

Yes I'm looking forward to Illumination as well. There are too many ELS cars though, for such a glitchy system.

i went back to els thought i would try the / key since i installed the stock cars for the bank heist mission...trying to beat the game and was curious to see if i could find it but couldnt and i dont wana have to buy a numpad...els may have the door glitch but thats no big deal v5 is very stable....

EDIT i got a new computer with a numpad and runs alot better so this topic can be closed
