I've been having an issue with custom backup lately. The backup I have listed for BCSO is addon vehicles, however no matter what I do only sheriff and sheriff2 respond. What do I need to edit? I've edited the custom agency file but it doesn't work.

Bumping because I'm still having this issue and I haven't gotten any answers. Research brings up absolutely nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

This is an issue with the various agency.xml files that I use with 0.4. Every other one works just fine, except for BCSO. If I put sheriff3/4/5/6 in the XML file no matter what sheriff and sheriff2 respond, not the others.

how are you?

 

The vehicles sheriff 3 to 6 do not exist in the game. GTA 5 only has certain vehicle slots that are also used to replace the vehicle. With Sheriff, for example, there are only "Sheriff" and "Sheriff2", which exist as slots from the game. With "Police" things look different. GTA 5 has 4 slots here. "Police", "Police2", "Police3", "Police4" ....

If you haven't added vehicles as add-ons, you can wait a long time for such units.

 

So delete the "nonexistent slots" (sheriff 3-6) from the configurations. Thus, no further error should occur.

I do have an addon pack from Tactical Donut installed, they weren't numbered in that exact way but it was along those lines. Looking at OIV, they are sheriff 3/4/5/21/31/51. I have those EXACT names in the agency file.

I have the assumption that there are differences between the vehicle spawn name and the naming of the add-on.

The pack was taken down from the website, however it worked fine for me with no issues like that.

I had a similar problem with my Sheriff backup, I put a post on here for help with zero response, a bit frustrating. After a couple of weeks of messing around I solved my own problem in "DefaultRegions.xml"

I'm including a sample of my LSSD just for an example;
