Get a new computer. The one you've got now is too old for modernization.

The game and the mod itself works just fine just a little slow. Nothing i can do other than get a new pc? just built this one 2 years ago. But i guess if that is my only option i will do it.

I've bought my computer 2 years ago, but I've added ram and changed graphic card and PSU. Here are my specs:

Intel Core i5 750 (4 cores @ 2.7 GHz)

8 GB RAM

Tacens Radix IV 450 W PSU

VTX3D Radeon HD 6870

Some Gigabyte motherboard (I'm too lazy to check :P)

Western Digital 500 GB hard disk

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

GTA 4 runs at high (not very high, and shaders are on medium) and I get 30 - 40 FPS most of the time (worst one was 25).

I agree with Yard1 if you want to play the game and mod without slowdowns and good graphics, then plan a new computer in your budget.
