Hi, I want to play online, so I go to find xliveless.dll to delete it and its no where to be found.. I have all files visible but I cant find xliveless.dll please help me!!!

This is steam version of GTA IV also...

Delete xlive.dll and verify game cache on steam.

It didnt work... still will not launch... and now lcpdfr wont install either...

Then reinstall GTA 4 and then LCPDFR, but install dsound instead of xliveless.

When you had LCPDFR installed, did you try launching the game as an admin? If not, then you definitely should've tried it.

How about you give us some information, such as your specs so we can try help you better.

When I first installed it, it worked but then I put lcpdfr in and then it wouldnt launch, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it wouldnt launch, now it does launch but in many areas the game freezes and stops working, also I got this off steam.. I deleted xlive but then it asks me to connect to live so I hit enter and the game freezes.. I really want this to work.. My specs will come later, at work right now.
