LSPDFR cause FPS drops to unplayable

Featured Replies

so i recently updated to 4.0 and since then whenever i go on duty i get 10 to 15fps drops,  when i go off duty again or i unload LSPDFR using Rag console it comes back to normal with stable FPS.  Now ive never had this problem,  i've been doing the whole lspdfr thing since 2016, so this is new to me and i'd appreciate if anyone could help me to fix this.

other users have to same problem.

few things you can do:

- wait for patch -> you're lucky lspdfr0.4.2 is coming soon

- change DirectX11 to 10.1

- lower the graphic settings

- or go back with lspdfr maybe 0.4 or 0.3.1

- or use your brain 😉

Well this isn´t the best system to be true. Also you cannot compare LSPDFR 0.3 with 0.4 as 0.4 has a lot of more features which all do some workload on your system.

For the most of us 0.4 runs fine (in some and my opinion better than 0.3)

Which settings do you have? Which other stuff do you use? (Mods, Graphics, Cars ect) Also you shouldn´t allow LSPDFR to loadup all models at start. This need a lot of memory.

On the other hand, to disable preload all models could make your game more stuttering at this system. You need to try it out 😉

Also there are a lot of plugins in this log for this system. Start smaller after clean (vanilla) LSPDFR runs fine. Install one plugin, try out how it works and how heavy the impact on your performance is. Then the next.

yeah its not the best rig, but it used to work just fine with 50 to 60 fps , now im getting 25 to 35 fps, as i said before i removed all the mods and tried LSPDFR as a standalone and their was the same problem.

Well and as I said, you can´t compare vanilla GTA with LSPDFR and you can´t compare 0.3 with 0.4.

More features always means more workload. Also move your settings down, don´t load all models at the beginning. You need to try things to see what will help or buy a better PC.

Also clean the whole system, do a defrag if you don´t use an SSD, defrag the registry, clean up shortcuts ect...

There is a lot of reasons why this could happen.

Try these LSPDFR.ini settings. It might help you to crack up more FPS

Main.PreloadAllModels = False
WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f
WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 0
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0
Chase.MaxUnits = 4
AmbientSpawn.DisableRandomUnits = True
Chase.DisableAmbientAI = True
PoliceStation.DisableAmbientSpawn = True
