RESOLVED

Bye bye super long post, hello much shorter post that actually describes the exact problem. Here goes:

Whenever I accept a pursuit call (have not gotten a chance to try starting a pursuit from a traffic start), a little error appears on the top left of the screen: something like 'error in script csharp.engine.core'. Now, of course I looked this up, and have tried found/tried the following:

1. Not use a cracked version. [Check]

2. Only have one ASI loader. [Check, I deleted dsound.dll and left xlive.dll]

3. Reinstall mod [Check]

4. Remove read-only attribute. [All files are not read-only, but Win7 seems to like re-applying the attribute to the folders or something]

5. Run as admin. [i'll try it in case I haven't but I think I have, so for now Check]

6. Use Dsound and not Xlive. [Would rather not try this. I like Xlive because, well, I'd rather not bother with GFWLive for a game I bought for SP mods (I have the retail version). I got the multiplayer experience out of GTA on my PS3 copy]

I have the mod installed on EFLC retail, newest version. I have used this mod before on plain vanilla GTA4 newest version without trouble (screwed up the install with other mods, and decided to use EFLC to get the APC/Stinger/Buffalo cruiser/etc). OS is Windows 7 64bit. Computer is more than capable (it's a custom gaming PC that has run this mod and many other games fine, so I probably need not list the specs out).

I will get to posting the logs ASAP. Other than that, any ideas are much appreciated.

Thanks

-Coffee

If ELS bugs out on you in-game after a call out, hit the ' key, same key as @ and type "reloadscripts" minus the quotes.

When using ELS, you should only have ELS cars in the slots spawned less frequently, so police and police2 should either be stock or non-els.

LCPDFR is compatible with all versions of GTA, including EFLC.

Thanks for the reply, I'll keep that in mind when I get around to ELS. For now, the FR problem persists, however I think I have found what it is: I get csharp.engine.core error whenever I accept a pursuit call. That is the point where the mod stops working. I have tried reloadscripts and that just resets it, the problem still exists. I will edit the first post with more detail. and post logs and such shortly.

Well, have I made a dumb mistake. I ran the diagnostic to find that I simply did not have an updated Xlive.dll. Guess I assumed the one that worked for me before would carry over to EFLC but apparently not. Reinstalled with the version packed in the FR installer, and no problems since. Sorry to waste forum space guys, feel free to close this up.
