Is there anyway to stop my backup from continually shooting an arrested ped following a pursuit? It keeps happening and all the suspects die. I'm starting to decide against calling them in because of this which is such a shame given how well they otherwise perform.

that's a known glitch with the pursuit backups.

if that happens, try to shoot the suspect with taser (stun gun).

most of the time, that would make the backups stop shooting.

my backup normally puts a bullet in the knee cap then catches and tases them lol its a good laugh watching haha

Im having a similar issue where when I point my gun at someone shooting and tell them to surrender using stop the ped my backup keeps shooting and eventually kills the person even if they have already surrendered and are on their knees on the ground!! how can this be fixed????

I also get that, but in my case firing the stun gun doesn't help at all. Once the stunned perp begins to surrender, the lead from other officers showers back again on the poor dog.

 

Something that should be investigated by Our Superiors, for sure. 😉

Also happens to me if the suspect is fleeing with a weapon in hand but it's avoidable if you change the Lethal Force value to Forced Off in the Pursuit Menu (N by default).
