The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Ragehook not launching even after LSPDFR/RPH update.

I reinstalled GTA V for LSPDFR 0.4 when it came out, i installed RPH and LSPDFR but when i click the RPH icon in the GTA folder nothing happens. It just pops up in the task manager for a second, the process gets interrupted, then it disappears out of the task manager and thats it. I already posted a earlier topic a month ago and i was hopeful 4.1 would fix it but no luck. Already tried anti virus/firewall solutions. Verified the game cache several times. Using the Steam version and obviously i have steam on. I've tried countless things but it wont work. No log either. And i also meet all the requirements stated on the RPH website. Sorry for my shitty way of writing this.

  • Create a copy of your original GTA folder so you don't have to install every single time lol. Set the original folder somewhere to the side called "GTAV - OG" or whatever. This will save you years off

Sounds like it's a computer issue to me.

Try this:
1. Load GTAV without RPH. If it works then go to step 2.
2. Load RPH without LSPDFR. If this works go to step 3. If it doesn't then you most likely have an issue with your PC security settings.
3. Load RPH with LSPDFR only. If this works then list all of your scripts/plugins/mods so we can see if there is a conflict.

One of these 3 things should help us narrow your issue down.

@Officer Rabbit Alright so i'ts probably the second one you've listed. I'm currently in the process of reinstalling GTA (again) because i'm hoping that'd fix it but is there any chance you know what to do if its the 2nd option? Thanks for the help

If you think it’s your computer some people have had issues with an installed anti-virus program. The program would not allow rage to initialize (can’t remember the name of the program). What you need to do is check your anti-virus programs to see if they are gating RPH. Disable pop up blockers if they are enabled.  You can also go to task manager and see what programs are currently running and then stop the programs process and try RPH again. If it works, there’s your issue. You can restart the program process from task manager also.

try it out and let us know what happens.

@Officer Rabbit I tried disabling my anti virus while trying and also white listing the GTA V folder. I also don't have AVAST (thats the name of the bad anti virus). In Task Manager there don't seem to be any programs that could be blocking it. I've attached a gif to give a better view of what happens. The blank program that shows Onderbroken only shows up everytime Ragehook disappears.  (Onderbroken = Interrupted)gifgif.thumb.gif.3199326acfb80ec47bfa007cf6cd79b0.gif

I think I see your problem. Look in your steam folder at the rage icon. It looks like you are trying to run it as admin. I tired to do the same and it crashed my game. Try running it without administrator privileges.

@Officer Rabbit I already tried that too and it didn't work either. Here's a bit of a cleaner gif. (The file above the RPH icon in my GTA folder got added by me as i checked in another thread if there was a way to retrieve a log but nope so thats nothing). Also, "If it doesn't work then click" what do i click? I dont get it hahaerror.thumb.gif.6ef38b54d798915669e3ddeb352e97be.gif

Sorry, I was editing when your replied. Here is my file with LSPDFR installed. I'm still looking into your issue so let me see what I can find. I don't see rage native UI in your folder. Is it there?

It actually looks like your missing alot of rage files. Try Re-installing Rage from this link: Version 65.1237.15477

@Officer Rabbit I tried with RagenativeUI before i reinstalled again and it didn't work, i've tried again now and still no change. Also no effect with redownloading/reinstalling rage. Would you like a picture of my GTA folder? Oh and forgot to mention, ofcourse i have .net framework and all that too.

@Rieny No success with the desktop icon and no i didn't edit it out. Just created a new shortcut.

it should come with the .exe bc mine is with the .exe

He may just have the name hidden but it may be worth a try. Typically, the icon would change if you remove the ".exe" from the name.

Yeah, if you can screenshot your folder I can see whats going on in there. Also, take some screen shots of your "Services" in task manager.
