Start with this and see if it helps. If no dice, I'll help you out on discord.

 

Spoiler

- Fresh GTA install

 

- Install Ragehook

• Set plugin timeout to 60000
• Set to load all plugins at start
• Under Game settings > Command line switches, check Force windowed mode (Once you're in game and everything loads, press ALT+Enter to go back to fullscreen, it needs to be in windowed for ragehook to load properly)

- Test that Ragehook works by loading GTA with it (Remember: launch with RAGEPluginHook.exe)

- Install LSPDFR 0.4.1 manually or with installer

- Test Ragehook again and check if LSPDFR has loaded. If it hasn't, open Ragehook and hold shift on start to access the settings. Ensure the plugins are being loaded. Sometimes on my install "Load all" doesn't work and I have to do "Load these" and check them all.

- In LSPDFR\lspdfr.ini, make sure to set Main.PreloadAllModels = false

 

Assuming this works for you, you now have a clean base install to build off of. I recommend backing up the GTA5 folder once it's working so should anything go wrong you can start back from a clean working slate. Also if you start to mod vehicles, graphics, etc.. make sure to use the mods folder in OpenIV.

If you really want to achieve this, you could edit the vehicles.meta for the vehicle you want to use thats not a police car and add the FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT and FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE flags. That should work in theory.

Can someone help me please?! I've downloaded LSPDFR my Rage plugins and all that SHOULD be required. The game runs, starts and I can go on duty with very minimal options. Once I perform a traffic stop I get out of my vehicle and once I try to interact with the ped LSPDFR crashes everytime. What can I do??? Thank you in advance!

I need help. I downloaded a fresh copy of LSPDFR game with absolutely no MODS installed. I manually installed LSPDFR and started the game. The game then crash and says the following: Fiber plugin. LSPD First Response Main Fiber. Can anybody help me fix this problem? Thanks

I am getting the same thing, game starts up but with black screen and then crashes.

@BeachHokie This isn´t the right log. Your actual logfile is always in your main folder. Same name but without time and date. Also please uncheck all options in the advanced settings tab of RPH-Settings. If you still have problems, please make a topic in the support section with the actual log attached.

@WarriorGaming Please do a bit of research next time by yourself next time 🙂 Would save your time, because it´s already written in different topics and also in the Common Issues Topic.

 

Set PluginTimeoutThreshold in RPH-Setting to 60000.

 

Btw. your log isn´t the newest. Your actual log is always in the GTA-folder, no subfolder. It has the same name but without time and date.

 

If you still have problems, please make a topic in the support section 🙂

@rabbit1988 I did research before posting in the thread. I had the RPH at 60000 before looking for help. Research is the first thing I always do. No disrespect. Thank you for the help. 

@WarriorGaming Well that´s what crashed your game in your posted logfile. There is nothing else I cant tell you right now. Sp please note hte other things I wrote 🙂

To everyone having crashing issues - (Long Story Short Below)

 

I was having issues much like many other people where my game would crash while running LSPDFR, and run fine without the mod loaded/running.  I tried removing everything possible from my plugins to vehicle mods. I had reinstalled the newest version of LSPDFR so many times I can't even count. Once I had exhausted those options and the mod still crashed my game EVERY single time, I had come to the conclusion that there was just some issue with the new version of the mod that I couldn't figure out.

 

After about a month or so of waiting for an update to fix my issue, I wanted to try again to fix it myself with a fresh new perspective on the problem. Instead of working with what I had I did a clean re-install and wanted to add one thing at a time to determine what might be causing this. I started by adding ScriptHook, RPH & LSPDFR, and to my surprise it worked fine with no crashes on loading of the plugin or going on duty and patrolling around. After testing for about ten-minutes it seemed like it was working fine, and made me wonder if an older file was somehow lingering around from a previous LSPDFR version and was causing the crashes. I then re-added Enhanced Native Trainer next so I could play like I used to and bam, crashes were back JUST like before, at the same points that they occurred previously. 

 

It was at this point I had realized that Enhanced Native Trainer (Update 40) was causing all of these crashes with the new version of LSPDFR, which is something I never thought to try as it's just a trainer and didn't think it would conflict with LSPDFR whatsoever... But it did. How I fixed this is by simply using the trainer that ScriptHook provides with its download - not nearly as pretty or advanced as ENT, but still has some features. Hopefully ENT will update in the near future to fix this compatibility issue with LSPDFR, so-long as they are aware of this, and if not hopefully this sheds some light on it.

 

LSS: Don't use Enhanced Native Trainer (Build 40), however use an alternative trainer such as ScriptHook provided trainer. 

PS: I've also experienced an issue where going into the station and going on duty will create this loading error where it loads the plugin but loses the LSPDFR GUI, so I'm just stuck looking at my character with no way to continue to character customization, vehicle selection, or to leave the station - making the only option to restart the game. I've found that one way of going around this problem is to go into the station and go on duty, then as fast as possible after going on duty and loading LSPDFR, exit the station. Step outside and let the plugins load, then reenter and customize the character and select a vehicle. Not sure if it's a plugin loading issue that cancels the GUI, but that's my thought so far.

 

Hope this helps someone out there who is clueless and really upset they can't play this awesome mod, as I was too. Great work on this amazing and game-changing update Sam!

 

I have a new issue that I have not seen before... when I load LSPDFR and go into switch character when I select a character (have tried like 3 different ones) when I hit enter nothing happens and it does not switch to them and I look up at the LSPDFR tab and there is nothing there, just the default GTA menu like if LSPDFR was not loaded so I unload the plugin and reload it and it still does this... only other RAGE plugin I have loaded first is EUP which I always load first before LSPDFR... anyone see this issue and know what may cause it? I do have several scripts and other mods installed... the last scripts I installed were adaptive missiles that breakway when fired and air superiority I do not know if those cause any issues with LSPDFR. 

Do I need ScripthookV.NET for LSPDFR? Normally I need ScripthookV, but is the .NET version needed in order for it to work properly?
