So I find out that my system doesnt have “playgtaV.exe” file at all, I searched it from the whole computer. What to do or is playgtaV.exe legally downloadable anywhere? Reinstalling the game is not solution because I already tried it and as I said I can play GTA fom Steam or desktop launcher without any problems..

In newer GTA V versions in your GTA V folder playGTA.exe is called GTAVLauncher.exe

Do you have playGTAV.exe file in your main GTA folder?

yes, now it's called GTAVLauncher.exe.

before the RPH crashed, when it came in "skipping api-ms-crt-math-l1-1-0.dll"

So I re-formatted my computer and now, it just closes alone.

Forgot to add that reinstalling the game doesnt solve the problem.

Already tried but it doesnt create any “playGTAV.exe” file to the main GTA folder. I can only play the game using Steam or from desktop icon.

have you found a solution yet?

Thanks for that, didn’t know. I can run GTAVLauncher.exe without any problems when Steam is also running. But when clicking RagePluginHook, only shows “Validating hook” and “validating system” and after that the launcher dissapears.

My computer doesnt have any antivirus at all.

Please create a short for RAGE Plugin Hook and append -log to it. It should look like this for "Target": "X:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\RAGEPluginHook.exe"  -log

Then please attach the resulting RagePluginHookLauncher.log here.

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

Thanks for answering! I did it as you said and heres my logfile:

RagePluginHookLauncher.log 1.74 kB · 2 downloads

Okay, I know where it crashes, I just don't know why. It is trying to show you an error with dependencies but dies while doing so. We can manually do the dependency check though and then see what it produces. Please append "CHECKDEPENDENCIES" to your shortcut to have it force the check and display the errors to you.

How to exactly do that? Which shortcut?

Please create a shortcut for RAGE Plugin Hook (rightclick the exe and create a shortcut) and then append -CHECKDEPENDENCIES to it. It should look like this for "Target": "X:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\RAGEPluginHook.exe"  -CHECKDEPENDENCIES

Please download and install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 Then try again with the shortcut and see if there are other problems.
