The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Hopefully this helps people with crashes..

So I had a clean vanilla install of GTA 5 and the 0.4. I was getting crashes as soon as I started up GTA5 and it was loading into LSPDFR as you first go into game. This is how it is working for me. I start GTA 5 first. Let it get in game and then go back and start Rage (Both running on administrator! <-Important!).

I DO HAVE a mods folder, Visual V + NVR, All police cars are modded, and sirens and it is working flawless. Let me know if you guys can get it running like that. It is a great updated foundation with people to starting modding with! LOVE IT!

I have a clean retail version of GTA V running LSPDFR 0.3.

Before I change up, am I to dump all my Albo1125 plug in's, etc  and delete the Mod folder with all my sweet LAPD units & cop uniforms? ("update" and "x64" folders)

I am good with that - IF we can put them back.

...Can yah?

You're better off deleting them all, updating to 0.4 then adding your mods back one by one just in-case some conflict with the new 0.4

To be safe, he is right. I mean, you can try it. Definitely dump your plugins folder! Your car and uniform mods might be ok. Just try it out before you erase everything. Shit, let me know too for the hell of it.

I felt the best course of action was to delete all the 3rd party plugins and the MOD folder.

(wow, did THAT free up HD space!)

0.4 installed and configured. The game plays as it should. Bare bones.  No radiance enhancements, etc.

Now, I await tutorials on how to put my LAPD cars and LAPD cop uniform back in the game.

As well as plugins updated for 0.4.

Looks like a whole new learning curve to MOD this game.

Dang! - Just got the hang of  0.3 modding.

I am a 3 year player - having never played this type of game before.

But I am VERY literate with my computer.

So show me once and I am good to go - you know?

SOLVED!

LSPDFR 0.4 only wants UPDATE folder in MODS folder.

Nothing else.

I deleted x64 folder.

I ran RPH without auto load LSPDFR to see how game would play with MY custom cars in place.

Game plays fine..

F4, loadplugin lspdfr first response dll...

IT WORKS!  .... alas you begin as a cop where you stand - not in your crib.

I am going to re-config RPH to auto load it now.

ALL COMMENTS helped me understand how to work this out!
