[Idea/Question] Ped/GangPed Specific Weapons?

Okay, So I know that some peds will be armed and some will just fist fight you. I know about relationships and the agitation triggers too. However according to the wiki and my experience the various and different gangs spread over San Andreas all use different weapon loudouts it seems, also shows so on Wiki. I'm wondering if since gang peds spawn with specific weapons ( or a chance to have them ) is it possible to find and change that file/document and adjust/alter the weapons they spawn with/carry?. I see on various Wiki's and GTA Fan pages it lists Families and Ballas and other street gangs as mainly using pistols and small SMG's, rarely an AK-47. Where as the Mafia and Triads and other more organized crime groups have automatic shotguns and even marksman rifles and other big guns. My goal or idea/concept is to adjust it so that peds on foot can only spawn with or have pistols/smgs/compact rifles. That way you would not see peds arse pulling large firearms, adding what I would consider some realism and immersion. Would be cool having gang members on foot shoot with their small personal weapons, and other gang members driving by stopping and getting out with maybe a shotgun or assault rifle. To Sum it up.....

- What file or system determines or sets what peds have weapons?

- What file or system seperates normal peds from gang peds ?

- Could said file or system be edited or altered to adjust the weapons said peds spawn with ?

 Thanks in advance, I have no idea how scripting/modding or any of this works I am just curious as to what is possible. Forgive me if the above sounds ridiculous.
