So, I recently downloaded LSPDFR and while waiting on 0.4 I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for mods, I was using a couple of mods from Albo1125 and found they didn't work for me, in fact they would stop NPCs pulling over, so any routine stuff you tried would end up in high-speed chases. I would love recommendations from experienced users to help me enjoy my time with LSPDFR until 0.4 comes out.

What is it you found didn't work, and did you run the troubleshooter albo has included?. I personally add a couple of callouts to vary gameplay.

Since you are new to LSPDFR, you should know that even if you follow every single step in the installation guides, make sure everything is up to date and only download mods you know for sure will be compatible with the other plugins and script you already have - you will run into issues. Something always goes wrong, and it can often be difficult to find out why. It sucks, but that's just how it is. There is a whole list of great plugins and script I would recommend you download, but the best way to minimize the risk of you running into any further issues would be to only download and install one thing at a time. It's tedious ad time consuming - but worth it in the end. Many of Albo's mods are essential to LSPDFR, so getting those to work before you do anything else is definitely where you should start.

New as well. So far just have the main mod and Computer+. What I would like most is to be able to fully clean up a scene, so a tow truck and a coroner. Been going through the mod list but unable to find it. Any tips? Thanks!

Albo's police smart radio here on the forums offers towing and coroners.

At the minute my issue is huge, when I hit my sirens, normal NPCs pull over but don't stay pulled over, and 'event' NPCs like DUI drivers just don't.

Just saw that. Looks like it needs Traffic Policer though which, according to many comments on the download page, doesn't work anymore. Thanks anyways!

I just got it working, it doesn't tell you to use LShift to blip a car before you light it up. I am an idiot and thank you guys, I am now installing ped and vehicle search as I believe LSPDFR+ doesn't have it.

Arrest Manager is no longer being updated.  I recommend Stop The Ped.  It does everything Arrest Manager did and more.  STP is a huge upgrade.

Is it working right now? I was gonna grab that but it says I need Traffic Policer which seems to have some issues currently.

Ye, STP works fine!  Albo's mods do not have a dependency on each other.  It says "for optimization, use all my mods", but even that is horseshit.  That is just his way of making sure you use his mods, you have no optimization issues at all.

Glad you got it working! LCPDFR and LSPDFR have always required you to press a key to conduct a stop. LSPDFR's handling is much better than in IV as you press the key to blip a vehicle and then run the siren to initiate the stop.

Ok cool thanks. So I can not install Traffic Policer and just install the Smart Radio and Stop the Ped and get coroner and tow truck? It says you just need Traffic Policer for alcohol and drug testing, which I don't care about, but it's not listed as optional under the prerequisites.

Yep!  You don't need Traffic Policer at all. Granted, Traffic Police does have some ambient events and callouts (I think), so it's really up to you.  Stop The Ped has alcohol/drug testing, and there's a mot called Interaction+ which has field sobriety tests, and that's a pretty cool feature.

Honestly, Traffic Policer, I wish when you asked someone if they had a drink during a traffic stop, that you could breathalyze them there, instead of coming out of the menu and hitting buttons.

I believe one of the mods listed has that feature.. I cant recall which one I have installed but it has the option to question the ped, and then test for drugs/alcohol.

One tip I have for people that come new, and this is very annoying step I admit, when I'm installing mods. I install about 1-2 mods at a time, launch the game to make sure its still stable, then continue on.

I'll admit right now, I do not think I can pull anyone over as I haven't found out the new controls since Traffic policer has been phased out.

StopThePed has been removed from the LSPDFR website for some reason

i see there was a GTA5 update on Steam today. Anyone have any LSPDFR issues since?
