I usually have 55-65 fps around the map when not running LSPDFR. After I started up the LSPDFR, the fps dropped to around 30-35...(Don't know why this forum won't let me do back-slash and start at a new paragraph...) I have a GTX 1080, 32GB of RAM, an I7-6700 and here is my video setting. I tried to get as low graphics setting as I can but still want to make the game to look pretty...but maybe those two are not the things I can get at the same time with LSPDFR?

Turn off alot of background processes.  Stuff like Discord, Shaowplay, Afterburner and so on,  I have very similar  specs (I7-7700 and 1070) and turning stuff like that off works for me.

prepare your GTA V FPS to be twice from your preferred FPS when playing LSPDFR (with its plugins).

 

for example, if you want to play LSPDFR on 60FPS, you need to have at least 120FPS when running only GTA V.

you may reduce the MSAA setting to 2x or 4x since that's the setting that steal the most of your FPS.

 

i'm curious why your FPS is so low when only running GTA V without LSPDFR. You have GTX 1080, that's a high end graphic card!

I only have GTX 1070 and can get  >120FPS (without LSPDFR).

I am wondering the same thing, my friend. It's not supposed to be like this, there'd have to be something wrong but I have no idea what is it...

I kinda get the same thing, although I just tested on a completely vanilla GTA V and got about 90-100 fps on average with the same settings I use in LSPDFR. I also have a GTX 1080 but a older CPU, i7 3770K and old/slow DDR3 20GB RAM. And when forcing duty I drop down just like you to about 30-45 (depending on location). Also not being able to turn down graphics to improve FPS (I even turned up some...because I saw no change either way)

 

I figured, after trying to problem solve this for so long already, its a RAM speed issue, mine is old and slow, and I've heard other with DDR4 and a similar setup as me somehow being able to run LSPDFR at 60+fps. You said you had 32gb RAM but is it also DDR4? If so I'd be really confused as how your FPS is so low.  

 

GTA V performance issue are a  hellish rabbit hole, some claim to have amazing FPS on budget setups, and people with higher end stuff claim the game runs like shit...who knows at this point.

According to CPU-Z, they are DDR4 indeed, which raises the question of what is wrong with my computer lol
