Sheriff 2 textures issue

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Hope someone can help.

My sheriff 2 has weird textures. I have found many fixes for NVR but I only use VisualV.

All my ELS vehicles are replace slots so no add on vehicles or anything and it is only doing it on sheriff 2.

We can't really see what the issue is with the pause screen open.  Can you please take a better screenshot?

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Hi Tactical

I have done so.

Wasn't sure if you meant the one under mods folder or normal gta5 files so exported both and named as per where I exported them from.

What info do you need.

Navigate to update.rpf\x64\data\ and extract carvariations.ymt. Open it with Notepad++ and get back to me when you've done that.

Hi guys

See above.

Double check your sheriff2 files.  Make sure they are all spelled correctly.  Sometimes people overlook one letter by mistake.

If you use a mods folder, please send me that one, or if you don’t use a mods folder, please send me the one from the standard update.rpf.

LSPDFR won’t allow you to upload YMT files because it’s stupid, just change the extension to .txt and you’ll be able to upload it then.

I have checked them and changed the vehicle many times.

I guess you can't change the extension, it's completely unreadable from my end. Upload the original YMT to some service like Mediafire or Google Drive, then put a link to it here.

Could you find the issue and what was it?

I changed the carvariations data for sheriff2.

This should hopefully fix it.

This is what I changed it to:

I know this is late, but for some of you who currently have this problem;

You have World of Variety installed, which puts in more vehicles texture files in this case its sheriff2. Navigate to mods > update > x64 > dlcpacks > wov > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles > wovvehicles.rpf. And delete the sheriff2 ytd files.
