I am attempting to install the below pack. Whenever i drag the files from the folders over to openIV the file name changes and im not sure why. Ive attached a screenshot of one of the files from the pack and what it turns into in openIV. this is the first time this has happened to me and im not sure the meaning or reason behind it. It is not just this one file, it is all of them from this pack only. ive tried other packs and they work fine.

 

You installed it wrong. Read the install instructions.

Example;

 In the rar file> Eup Uniforms>mp_m_freemode_01_male_apt01>jbib_diff_012_a_uni.ytd

You take that file and drag it into this location in openIV

Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\update.rpf\x64\eup\eup_componentpeds.rpf\mp_m_freemode_01_male_apt01\

i know the install location, but i was putting it there to view the texture before i overwrite my current textures. but even if i put it in the correct install location it doesnt overwrite the texture because the file name changes.

Drag the .ytd file to your desktop then into openIV

You didn't unzip the file

it is unzipped tho. i even deleted the folder, zip and redownloaded it and unzipped it again
