No need to put the x64e.rpf file in the mod folder i just put the x64 and update folder unless a certain mod requires you to mod the x64e file!...

here is some tips! always put your added/modded vehicles in your latest patch file. Mines is patch20day ( i may have spelled it wrong lol  but like that ) and then when you got the modded gameconfig file make sure its for the current version of gta v  1.0.1604.0.

Actually,

That file should be in the mods folder if they are replacing police vehicles with ones that are of a different model.

So when placing vehicles into my patch day, I should have the x64e.rpf in my mods folder?

Hi there,

game config goes here:

most recent game game config is here:

https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars

Open openiv, then proceed to your mods folder then go here:

mods/update/update.rpf/common/data

Also try this:

https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap#comments_tab

and check out this page:

I tried adding a game config but the game wouldn't load and came up with the following message while trying to load

Hi All,

Thank you so much for your comments and help recently as its much appreciated. I thought I would let you know that since installing a game config I haven't had a crash so i guess that was the issue! Thanks so much again, I would appreciate if you did keep an eye on this thread though as If the problem returns I will be back here again 🙂

Cheers

If you are replacing police vehicles with different models, then yes. Also, in reference to those links you posted, I am currently experiencing the same issue with those added. So, I am looking into the issue and will try and find the solution as soon as possible.

Hi All,

I have now prevented any GTA V crashes from occurring, im assuming thanks to the game config so really thanks a tonne, unfotunately I am experiencing an increasingly large amount of lspdfr crashes? These only started since the config and such had been added, any thoughts?

Cheers

Could you also post your plugins folders and plugins LSPDFR folders (screenshots).

No need for that quite yet. I may be able to solve it before needing to look at that.

I would but unfortunately what happens a lot of the time is LSPDFR crashes and then my GTA V freezes and doesnt respond and I am forced to open task manager and cancel task. I often have to play in windowed mode now because if it freezes and im in fullscreen I have to restart my computer

Hello,

Question. When  do these crashes occur usually?

Thanks!

They vary like a lot, sometime when I answer calls, when im driving to calls, when I finish a call, when Im just normally driving around etc... It happens at a bunch of different times, there isnt a patter (that I know of) that they share.

Hello,

I have to say that that happens to me too. Except usually it is only like one crash every 1-2 hours of play time. I have yet to figure out how to stop it.

Best of Luck!
