C.T.D. after activating E.L.S. (After choosing car.)

Featured Replies

Very interesting thing going on here. I am using [G.T.A. IV - E.F.L.C. T.B.O.G.T.], [L.C.P.D.F.R. 0.95 R.C .2] , and[ E.L.S. V6.1] and I have noticed that shortly after choosing my police cruiser, and this is with any police cruiser utilizing the E.L.S. V.6.1, I will crash to the desktop after turning on my lights. It is just a simple, "The program has stopped responding" crash message. I have in fact tried using the regular G.T.A. IV without E.F.L.C. and it's the same thing. I have looked through my E.L.S. settings and I have the A.I utilization set to off. I had wondered if maybe this was the problem. That just maybe the program was recognizing my cars as A.I. and when I activated E.L.S. it would get confused and go spastic, however I did turn on the A.I. utilization and it still caused the crash. I tried downgrading my E.L.S. to V5, same story. I tried taking my L.C.P.D.F.R. version back to the previous version... No cigar. So at this point I am very confused here on what may be happening. I would post a log but for some reason I cant get the tool to run. Any help would be much appreciated... Even though I have troubleshot as much as I could. xDIf you need any more info that I may have left out please do ask!

What do you mean you can't get the tool to run? Do you mean the diagnostic tool? Do you have C++ and .NET framework 4 installed correctly? It sounds like you're missing a prerequisite for ELS (being a scripthook, .NET, etc).

Well, as I had said before, it happens to any car that utilizes E.L.S.. It doesn't matter what car I use whether it be police, police 2, 3, F.B.I, etc. And yes I mean the diagnostics tool, I clicked the link to go to it here on the forums but it said the website was down or something. Also, last night I made sure to re-download all of the essentials, (Framework and the such.) I really have no clue what to think at this point...
