Zmodeler Help - Installing QuadraFlares

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, I've created myself a crownvic with a whelen liberty and a rambar.

I've found the QuadraFlare pack over at GPM, and wish to add some to the rambar of my car. In the readme it says the following.

Installation Instructions:

1. Import given textures into zmodeler

2. Import one of the given models (may be in .3ds or .wft format)

3. Move to the place the model will be ingame

4a. Copy if needed (the part named extra_# must also be copied for the model to light up)

4b. remap the light glass (no instructions included)

5. Rename or Attach the "extra_#" to an ELS light or to "extra_1-9"

6. Place under Chassis_L1 or Chassis_L2 (if applicable)

I've done exactly as it says, however I'm stuck on step 5. The Quadraflare model consists of the light itself (misc_c) and a dummy (extra_#) which is a child of misc_c, however because it is a dummy, I can't attach it to my existing Extra_1 or Extra_4. If I attempt to rename the dummy to those, I get the duplicate error when I export.

Does anyone know how I'm supposed to install these? Thanks Guys.
