lose about 30 fps after lspdfr starts running lol

Featured Replies

hii

so i run gta usually with 60+ fps, but when i run lspdfr I lose about 30 fps

This is with a ton of plugins though haha. If I didn't have all the lspdfr plugins  (so just lspfr) running I'm sure it wouldn't have affected it.

I think its the CPU...

here are some of my specs:

cpu: AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core-Processer

gpu: Nvidia Gefroce GTX 950

memory: 16 gb

edit: heres my plugins list (only for lspdfr folder) http://prntscr.com/k8pf3c

the cpu doesn't seem to be going to 100% when I run lspdfr though (same thing for memory) :/. My current cpu seems to be around $60 i'm thinking of just dumping $300 into a new one?

thanks for the help 😀

Welcome to running LSPDFR with mods/plugins/scripts , lol. I have 80+ FPS, when i activate LSPDFR and go on duty i get 30 max. I have nearly the same AMD build you do, my video card and processor are both 100$ or under, 4-6 year old hardware. Really desperately need to upgrade to I7' and GTX 1080, step up MOBO and get the latest channel DDR4 memory. 16-32GB.

Yeah, i feel like a way overclocked I5 or I7' is required for LSPDFR maximum FPS, they have come down a lot in price since I9's development, some are $200-400.

That's a good high clock, just assure you get a MOBO combo with it, or anothe motherboard independently that is Intel compatible. Since you are running AMD now like me you will need to switch your mobo over. I have old DDR3, i assume you already have DDR4 or the latest but if you don't i would recommend 16GB of that. The eight gig duo sticks are usually a reasonably priced package deal. Half of the problem is once you upgrade a major component like your Processor/Video card you wind up having to replace nearly every other part as well for compatibility/practicability. I have a re-build right now and it's on its last legs. I intend on dropping a solid 1,200 - 1,500 on my next rig, that way i can be set for the near future and enjoy my current titles with much higher FPS and settings and such.

jesus $1200- 1500! you're going in deep haha. You'll definitely enjoy that! yeah instead of intel i think im going to stick with amd and get the ryzen  2700X because its pretty much the same thing and I think its compatible with my MOBO
