E key causing vehicle crash in pursuit

Hello all.  I've seen the solution for this somewhere on the internet a couple of years ago.  However, I cannot seem to find it online so I am posting this to see if anyone has a fix.  When using lspdfr with ELS if i press the E key while in a pursuit, the car I am chasing just guns it in a straight line until it crashes.  If anybody knows the fix for this I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you.

I have the same issue, i dont think its anything other than stupid AI not knowing how to handle the mod, but if a solutions is figured out, please quote me.

 Open the ELS INI and change ELSTRAFCTRL to false. Then they will drive 'normal'.

What if i dont have ELS INI? I only have LSPDRF and LSPDRF+

Meaning you do not have the ini file for ELS, or you do not use ELS? If you have ELS, the ini file should be in the LSPDFR plugins folder (Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR).
