The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

RAGEPluginHook doesn't load game

Featured Replies

I would and then reinstall rage and then go to the website for scripthookv and scripthookvdotnet and download the latest versions

Also this may work but go into your ragehook.ini and change plugin timeout threshold to from 10000 to 60000

Oh whoops, I swear I put that in before everything else. Anyways, i'll try again and see if it works. My game still crashed the same way as before.

This topic should help.

my next thing to suggest is verifying game cache through steam.

Are you using more than one network controller?

I have read that topic once before and followed it's steps and no solution. I already verified and it says everything is clean, and I only have 1 network controller.

Well if your regular game works, but not rage then I'm not sure how to go about it. What I did was reinstall gta, install rage and test it without lcpdfr and eventually I got it to work

I'll try to find a solution somewhere on the internet hopefully. If not there, i'll experiment a bit. Thanks for the help tho

I try to recommending game reinstallation at the last but it's the only thing I can think of because we tried updating everything, reinstalling rage itself, checking config, taking mods out, testing the default game. I'm not sure what's going on with it 😞

But if you decide to reinstall. Do a clean copy of the game, install rageplugin first with scripthook and test it before adding lspdfr. Once it's good to go, add lspdfr and test that. Once that's good, you're in the clear

Alright, thanks for the help! 👍

No problem! Honestly, I am frustrated as much as you are lol, to be fair.. I only get 2 mins in game and then it freezes and sometimes I get bsod, but I have a new system built customized and not a prebuilt so that could have potential reason. Anyways,  keep me updated if that reinstall works!

Having the same issue myself. For me though, its RPH itself. I had it running twice when it would actually load but now, no such luck. I uninstalled LSPDFR and tried to run it again and still the same issue. Now, the game runs normally through steam with no issue. Not sure what I can do on the Rage end of things.

I think I found an odd fix for my issue. I turned off Disable Custom loading screens. and I also changed the time out to 20000 instead of 10000. Although I don't think the latter made an difference as it crashed when I change that before. Worth a shot though if you exhausted all other options.

Well if that did fix it for you, I will give it a shot when my game is done installing. Fingers crossed 🤞

It still doesn't work after reinstall and changing the number to 20000. This is ridiculous.

But did you untick "Disable Custom Loading Screens"in the RPH setting? Thats what I did to get it work. The changing the 10000 to 20000 was just an extra thing I had done that I thought you could've done it.

Mine is unticked by default.
