So for some reason when i install my own DLC that I created last year my game crashes while loading story mode. It only contains 4 vehicles  so i'm not hitting any limits. I thought if your game didn't like something in the add-on folder it would crash whenever you tried to spawn it as oppose to crashing on the loading screen.

 

 When i delete the DLC my game loads fine so I don't know whats up, it worked last year on a diff computer. 

 

Can somebody download and install the add-on below and see if it does the same thing to you?

 

 

I figured it out.. i downloaded a new gameconfig and it fixed it. I thought modded gameconfigs were only needed if you had like over 20 add-on cars and stuff. Oh well. Please keep thread up in case someone has the same issue. 

It's needed when the game updates as well, which it did this year. 😉

I've been using the Vanilla game config for ages. I have like 20 cars that i've replaced but only 4 add-ons.

And you can use the vanilla one, because it updates automatically. But once you start using your own DLC / start adding cars, you need a costum gameconfig, which needs to update whenever the game does.
