Glossy paint and textures

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a way to change the glossy appearance of a vehicles paint job or other textures like taillights? I have an issue with cars being extra shiny and the taillights appear glossy and almost candy coated.

Do you have any Custom/Modded Timecycles (e.g. VisualV), ENB's, etc Installed?

Yes, I have 'Make Visuals Great Again' installed. I figured that is probably the cause, so I guess I should have asked if anyone knows what to adjust in the visualsetting.dat file to alter those settings.

.

so for the paint you have to use the trainer and go to vehicle color and go under metalic matte or the first one and press to the right and back left that'll fix the paint jobs

as far as the tailights you have to go to vehicles mods menu go down to vehicle tint and change that to stock if stock doesn't work scroll to none and if that doesn't than unfortanately you're going to have to consider swapping out that vehicle because it is then the actual part not working with your visual mod you have installed.

its way easier to find a car that is compatible than to try to fix the graphics and a heads up with graphics this is how i have absolute sexy graphics

first download and install VIsualV then NVR, then install the brighter nights options after that navigate to the common data timecycle folder inside the timecycle folder export all the timecycles files then install make visuals great again and the RESHADE AND ENB then go to common data timecycle and import the files you just exported and walahh!

the mixture of the three is perfect ! i know i know some people are going to say aren't you just over writing all the files you just installed between the three some yes but the ones that go untouched between the three is what makes the perfect mixtures. ill share some screens.

I exported the textures and edited the transparency with paint.net and it seems to have fixed the issue. Here is the before and after screenshots of the same car.20180607150011_1.thumb.jpg.2b7ae52b91644cb7198e8f43d868273e.jpg20180617063908_1.thumb.jpg.c5cbe0519a0bb6c3d441e931ada01529.jpg
