Carvariations edit not working

I am trying to install Desmond's 2014 Ford Explorer (police3) and the installation requires that you add lines to the carvariations.meta.

 

His instructions are as follows:
"Go to Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpluxe\dlc.rpf\common\data\carvariations.meta and add this lines after   <variationData>"

 

I used Notepad++ to add the lines to carvariations.meta and it is still not working and I don't know what I've done wrong. I've tried to show in the screenshots how I've copied and saved them to the meta, maybe someone can tell me what I've done wrong? Thank you.
