Any way to remove lightbar from locked vehicle?

Featured Replies

Hi. Is there any way to remove a lightbar from a locked vehicle?

Making it invisible will work too - can i just set textures to transparent or will that not work?

Not sure which textures to edit :)

Thanks guys!

The answer is yes, locked vehicles are not completely protected from everything, but I'm not posting how for obvious reasons.

I don't know about the texture thing try deleting the lightbar texture for that model (emerglights). Not being a vehicle modeler I would think ELS (if enabled) would still be an issue.

Making the textures for the lightbar as empty transparent images will work, but only if the lighbar texture isn't mapped to any of the default resource textures. Give it a go though.

The transparency will only work on the glass of the lightbar, the lightbar itself will appear white ingame if you remove it's textures.

But what if you make those transparent too rather than removing them completely?

Will probably be coloured by default. Sample: Yellow on a taxi.
