Hi every one
I've finally got LSPDFR to work and now I've played it for a few days, and now I'd like to make my LSPDFR better by installing LAPD vehicles and the LAPD sirens.

I would like to have the best LAPD vehicles and the best LAPD sirens.

 

But I do not know what can be recommended so by cars I have looked at them here:

CVPI LSPD Mx7000 / Arjent. 1.6.2
LAPD Ford Police Interceptor Utility (2014) [ELS / NON ELS] 0.8

 

and of sirens I have looked at them here:

Modern Siren Pack (federal signal smart siren)
LAPD Federal Signal Smart Siren ss2000 (els and siren mastery) 1.0.6

 

but I do not know how to install police vehicles and sirens so I hope there are someone in this forum that can help me.

For installing vehicles, use OpenIV and go to mods-->update-->x64-->dlcpacks-->patchday 18-->dlc-->x64-->levels-->gta 5-->vehicles.  Click "edit mode" and drag and drop your modded vehicles here.  Note: patchday18 will not have the car files there, don't worry!  Just place the new files and it'll work.  Then click "edit mode" again when finished.

 

For sirens, still in OpenIV and go to mods-->x64-->audio-->sfx-->RESIDENT.  Click "edit mode", then right click-->Import Open Formats.  Now, there are two siren file types, .awc and .oac.  For .awc, all you need to do is drag and drop this into the RESIDENT archive.  For .oac, you need to right click and import as I said above.  Click "edit mode" again when finished.

 

You're done!

I do not have patchday 18. The highest I have is patchday 17 ???

That's fine, go ahead and use patchday17. :)  It'll work the same.

ELS will only work with ELS specific vehicles.  All ELS files will have ELS in the title, and/or say ELS/non-ELS in the file info.  I have never used SM and ELS vehicles together, but I imagine it'd work.

I just want to add that Siren mastery and els work great together. It adds a new dimension to different agencies and sounds.

Okay but can I in SM change how the lights need to flash like in ELS ???

No, Siren mastery controls the sounds only and els the lights.
The good thing with SM is that you can have custom sirens for different departments.

Okay, as I understand it all so to get a good "simulation" on the police lights and the sirens, I can run ELS and SM at the same time?
