Wheels are perpendicular to chassis in-game

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So after a long time of skinning vehicles for GTA IV/V I decided to teach myself to do some basic modeling in zmodeler3.

I am currently working on a 2016 FPIU, however when I put it in game the wheels are sideways, at a 90 deg. angle to the car's body.

Here's a pic:

Oddly enough, the vehicle drives just fine and all the textures are there. In both Zmod and OpenIV the model looks just fine in preview but obviously in-game it's a different story.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

To make it easier for you then the hassle of fixing your axis, just save your work, and go to file and click new, Import the dev model again and the just unlink all of wheel and wheel dummies cols and then delete the model and save. Now open back up your project and delete the wheel and wheel dummies you currently have and then merge the wheels that you saved into your project. Wheels fixed.

Tried what you suggested but unfortunately the wheels are still messed up.

Can you show only the wheel and cols in zmodeler?

I just unlinked them to take the screenshot, they were linked when I tried it in game

Those look fine. Check your chassis and make sure your axis is set to world. Make sure your wheel is set to parent

Still no luck :/

I think I might just start over, I didn't do too much to the model anyway.

Thanks for the help! :D
