Then there must still be an installation error somewhere alone the way.

 

Do you have advancedhookv.dll in the main GTA directory?

there...is not..i was pretty sure i had one at one point! LOL

There's a chance your anti virus may of removed it.  Go ahead and grab that file from the ELS download. Then it should be fine. :)

alright one more question...when you boot up your rph settings..it says f4...and you can change it. however it doesnt stay saved...ie i want it to be f10 as nothing is there..where as with f4 it loads native loader i believe....any fix for that?

This sounds stupid, but are you sure you're pressing save to save the changes?  I personally have never changed the RPH keybind, so I'm not too sure if that actually works myself.

yes i hit save and start rph. Its not a huge deal...more of a tiny annoyance that i shouldnt even be bothered about since its finally working!!! I'm the happiest boy in all the land!! and now i need to go to bed so i can get up for work in the morning lol. Tell me who you'd like my donation to go to, as who is your favorite modder so i can help them as much as you helped me!

Its not..but i feel compelled as i know you all put many hours into this, and it can be frustrating to deal with idiots like me :D I just wanna pass on some good vibes. 

another dumb question. so one of the packs i downloaded came as xmas.yft and what not...do i need to change it to one of the original spots like police or fbi2 or can i just save it as xmas so i'm not using those ones?

I was an idiot once as well, and still am on a lot of things. :D  So no worries. 

 

It all depends on what you want to do.  Do you want to replace a vanilla slot with that vehicle, or make it a standalone?  If you want to replace a vanilla slot, rename the files to the slot you want.  Remember to do the same for the ELS VCF!

well i notice in the spawn vehicles menu, theres lots of open slots? that say they are disabled. If possible i'd like to use one of those...otherwise, whatever is the easiest to make work really...

Your trainer has the option to make standalone cars part of the spawn vehicle list, however, those cars need to be installed into the game first.

can you help me with one more(for now lol) stupid n00b question...when i hit left dpad button on my controller it opens smart computer, ie the radio...and it also starts my lights..how do i have it not do that? I think easiest thing would be to remove the lights starting, as i can start the lights using my keyboard. tia!

You'd need to into the INI/config for Police Smart Radio and change the keybinding.  Unfortunately, you can't change ELS controls on controller.

again...you are the man! I'm ok with just using c for opening smart radio, and left dpad for els!

 

Ok new problem...how do i frisk/search a car or  person...i have arrest manager and lspdfr+ installed and i haven't even seen instructions on how to frisk, and everytime i search for it, i'm seeing nothing
