So I have installed a couple ELS vehicles, along with the main ELS program, and I'm able to spawn the vehicles. However the lighting system is NOT working. Please help me :'( I'll send screens of all the files. I'm 99% certain i've done it the EXACT way i've seen in all the videos but I'm still not getting it to work!!! I'll put up an example here. THanks in advance!

clarification

heres what the vehicle looks like in the game..only way to get lights/sirens is by pushing in left stick on my xbox controller, or e on the keyboard...which of course opens the computer as well...and only flashes the taillights.....

also ctrl p does NOTHING....so i know something is wrong

Do you have ScriptHookV installed?

all of them. I've yet to get a single car to work. I've tried a couple.

In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works. If it still not working after that, please create a topic and post the ASI log and ELS log files.

 

ASI Manager is located under the "tools" menu at the top.

and still having the same problem....what should i start the topic as?

also not sure which one is the ELS log file...the asi or ani?

Oh, sorry, ignore the new topic thing.  I copy and pasted directly from my FAQs.

 

In your main GTA V directory, open ELS.INI.  Find "maxactivevehs", change this to 60.

 

The ELS log will be a text document.

Do you have ELS.asi in the main GTA V directory?

Go under tools in OpenIV-->asi manager.  Make sure ASI loader is installed.

 

The other possibility is that you may of installed ELS incorrectly.  The only thing not working is ELS.asi,

it is indeed installed....so if i need to reinstall els, should i uninstall all the mods i have added, then uninstall els, then reinstall it? Also how would i do that? How do i restore all the original cars using the original vehicle meta folder i saved?

No need to reinstall everything.  What patchday did you place your cars in?

right now i believe i have them in patchday2 and 3...maybe 4...the original instructions say to use those....i'm now seeing instructions to put them in most recent patchday folder, which is patchday17....is that how i should be doing it?

Yes, the replacement vehicle files go in patchday17.  It should work fine after that.

so...since i already installed them in earlier places, such as police 3 and what not...do i need to delete the old ones?
