This is still a valid issue in the community. I am now having this issue myself. I got Rage to loadup one time randomly. Now it won't load up again. Been over 70 attempts without success.

I had the  same issue I downloaded the LSPDFR manual install and followed all the  instructions. I disabled my Webroot antivirus including the firewall and allowed the Ragehook and GTA V as accepted apps. I restarted my computer and ran ragehook normal, then as an administrator. Nothing is working  so far. These are the errors im getting:

 

Any help would be great because I really want to play this game!

when that menu pops up...hit the gear icon...go to game settings, then click command line switches , and make sure you select directx 11, and force windowed mode

sorry..couldnt add the screen shot of directx11 and windowed mode, but they are under that menu

Yeah, the RAGE Support server is absolute crap. Even when I WAS nice there they never helped me with anything, and the solutions they did give me and called "help" was stuff I had already tried or on some instances made my game even more prone to crashing. I am still having this issue. That support server is virtually useless, all it's good for is keeping track of RAGE software updates.

Im having issues with ragehook. everytime I add the mods folder it says insufficient permission but without the mods folder it works fine
