Is LCPDFR any good?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just got my hands on GTA IV again and thought I'd get into the LCPDFR mod for GTA IV instead, I tried it on GTA V but it was always being updated or not working my way. So my question is, can I get LCPDFR and a bunch of mods for GTA IV without any issues for the most part? I just wanna play as a cop without to much hassle... :)

Cheers,

GTA IV isn't being updated anymore, so pretty much every mod is for Patch 1.0.7.0, which is the latest one. LCPDFR works great, as do other script and graphical mods.

Thank you so much, I will try to get it to work at some point soon :)

And how do you downgrade to 1.0.7.0 then? Would be amazing to get it sorted soon :D

Not to be a huge pain here but can any of you recommend me some mods for GTA IV LCPDFR? I mean scripts and more, car models and character is fine :D

Mod pack with fixes and all the goodies. Strooper cars and some LCPD and strooper ped mods. Along with LCPD detectives. I don't recommend anything else.

Hey, sorry it's been a few days, when I install patch 1.0.7.0 it kinda breaks my game, I am unable to put the game back at 1920x1080, it's also super slow... You have  a fix? :)

If you game is running slow try to lower the graphics in settings and put lowered resolution. Also try to remove ELS if you have installed or any graphicall mod's like ENB.

I'll have to give this a try sometime when not playing with buddies online.

To fix your graphical error i believe you need to add "-nomemrestrict -norestriction " to your GTAIVLancher.exe or steam application. That should resolve the lag and or inability to increase/change your graphics settings. If that does not resolve it the odds are you have a hardware and or requirement issue with both games. Now onto the LCPDFR conversation...-.. LCPDFR and IV in general i find and some others as well to be generally more realistic and fun with the Mod. The Physics, driving, and general more stable 1.1 version of LCPDFR has so many features the 0.4 LSPDFR lacks. Also i feel IV and LCPDFR is more challenging as it's nearly impossible to die unless you play with Hardcore Enabled. The gunplay, EMS and fire script mods along with various other callout related ones are not as plentiful as V however. But still with Bravehearts , and the other various script/plugin callout downloads for LCPDFR there is hundreds of call-outs to respond to and countless real time random world events to encounter. Then again if you don't believe me just refer to the content, current LSPDFR / LCPDFR Manuals and features yourself. This video was also very informative and telling for many in the Grand Theft Auto community.
