ZMod3 Export Issue

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a problem regarding exporting a model. Anytime I try to export I get an error that says

"Can not obtain Shader material from "Default Material". file:RageExportMaterial.cpp line:114"

I tried reformatting the Default Material to a shader material instead of a ZMod 2 material in the material browser but then it gives this error.
"Undefined adaptation on material "Default Material". Dropping to "default"."
"Missing requried texture in "DETAIL" on material "Default Material"."
Exported highest lod only. Hierarchy elements: 70. Collision elements: 19. Materials used: 59. Embedded textures: 0.

I am able to export but am given a STR_Failure_3 when loading in game. All of my textures are properly made and the default material isnt applied to polys. I have also tried creating a new deafult material and importing one from a working file but it has failed to work.

Anyone have any solutions?

I have also tried reinstalling ZMod and the base vehicle used with still no luck. The vehicle causing this issue is the 2017 FPIU recently added to DEV section.

Hate to bump a topic, but this is still a recurring issue for me. I have in addition to stated above, tried changing the materials from the ZMod 2 to shader material. The only difference is it makes the vehicle able to be exported but the issue remains. The vehicle is also causing an STR Failure when spawning. Importing and reloading textures also has not worked.

That error I believe is a memory error. To fix this, go to your base node (police, police2, or whatever you have it labeled) Click Isolate, then go to properties. Under user defined properties, either adjust the base to a higher number (you may have to test multiple times until the error stops) or add the line Base and start at 250. Keep lowering this number until the error stops.

This error means that one of your parts has the default shader applied. Select all parts, then go to poly mode. Select parts by material and click the default material, then select. Those polys need to be assigned a GTA V shader.

I have the same problem when trying to export, what do I click to select all parts?
