Hi I noticed that a few years ago this was a issue but I never tried ELS until now so I installed it today installed a few cars and done the necessary including dlclist.xml etc, but all else faile the only thing that flashes is the taillights which is strange and the other ones don't do nothing either. I also notice that the display panel don't come up I think its CONTROL + P or something not sure but anyway it don't work for me for some reason. I be very grateful if some one can help me fix this in simple steps.

i have had random issues with ELS, had to do a fresh install of it two times now, because it will run fine for few days and the window stopped poping up as well. I redownloaded some new vech skins and els seems to be working good so far. On day two of window still showing, so could of been some els xml files were messing up els itself. If you have skins installed, try to rename the Mods folder to _Mods temporarly and launch game and see if window pops up. or move mods folder on desktop till you launch and test it, but this is guessing you got some els vechs installed.

Yeah I have a few cars installed but unfortunately the lights don't flash I mean they come on and all but nothing flashes which is strange but I noticed last night that the AI manages to get them flashing which to me is beyond a joke lol anyways I'm stumped on this one to be honest I tried changing a few settings in xml file and still no luck so I'm going to install a few things like visual v etc to see if that does anything may be its too dim or something I dunno. :)

This issue has plagued me in the past but luckily there is a simple fix.

 

Go to open IV and select ASI manager

 

Next uninstall ASI loader and Open ASI and then re-install both.

 

That's it, load your game back up and your ELS should be working now.

Yeah this did work for me thanks just the lights seem really dim as well for me which is strange...

Do you have a visual mod installed like Radiance V? If not then go ahead and put one in that should fix the light problem. 

 

If you do or the lights are still dim after installing one check your graphics settings. Make sure Post FX and Shader Quality are both set to at least high. Anything below that and lights will appear dull

So if you have a ELS vehicle installed you must have ELS installed for it to properly work?

Because I've done all the same and I've got no lights except tail lights as well.

If a vehicle has ELS enabled then you must have the ELS modification for the lights to function properly.

If you read through the thread I provided a solution to OPs ELS problem. If you are having the same issue it should work for you as well.
