I've recently installed the retail version of GTA 5 and I've been wanting to play LSPDFR for the longest time but ive run into some problems.. I've tried to install Ragepluginhook but it seems to not want to install. Ive tried to update my game and I've looked everywhere but i can't find where to update it. It also says my installation has been corrupted but why can i still play it if it is?

 

Can someone please help me?

Please post in the correct location in the future.

By the look of it (correct me if i'm wrong) you launched the RagePluginHook from your download folder.. You need to copy the files to your game folder and then launch RagePluginHook.

I've moved it but it still isn't working

You still not in the right folder. LSPDFR and RagePluginHook files should be in the GAME folder where you installed GTA V.

If you have retail version it should be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games

Not 100% sure about the location because I have the steam version.

Rage must be installed in the same folder as GTA5.exe.  Must be installed in your Grand theft auto 5 folder

That's the problem... i can't find the GTA5.exe anywhere in my computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled GTA 5 i swear at least 4 times yet it comes up with the same problem, I've tried looking up where to download GTA5.exe and I've found it but i just cant download it because it says i have a ton of files missing....

Thats very strange  You have steam  i assume

I do but i manually installed it with the retail version. Should i try the steam version?

I have literally tried every youtube video i could find. Nothing works

Try the Steam version, you should get a GTA V folder that has GTA V.exe and GTA V Launcher.  Place the Rage files there.
