Hey, I was wondering if it is permitted to upload someone else's mods and textures, that they had removed, but also clearly stating who's work it was. I have seen some people wanting a vehicle texture pack that the author had removed and the authors account no longer exists. The pack is pretty amazing and deserves recognition..

We only allow members to upload content which they either created or if you are part of the team that worked in the modification, if not they are prohibited from being uploaded. We have to respect the wishes of the original author who decided to remove their modifications.

Usually if stuff is removed there is a good reason, e.g;

• The user no longer wants their files on LCPDFR.com.
• There was a problem on the file that the user thought was worth removing it over.
• A permissions issue and potentially the author didn't have permission to use things that they used.
• Or simply just the author no longer wants the work public.

For that reason, we don't really allow people to upload removed files, or files on behalf of another user. If an author wants their files here, we prefer them to put them here, so we can make sure everyone is happy.
