Hi,

 

 I am enjoying custom backup by PNWParksFan and have been told that you can change spawn distances for backup units. How can I do that?

An easy way is to copy the spawn distance which the helicopters have. They have a distance pre defined. 

 

Just check the xml that comes with the plugin and copy that line to the car of your choice.

Huh, thanks for the quick response. The plugins description says you can set a spawn distance for anything. What you have suggested is a little beyond me, is there a simpler way?

@Splodge123 well you have to edit the

xml anyhow :)

So I thought a copy/paste would be the easiest way. 

I admit editing the xml  isn’t super easy at first, but you’ll get the hang of it I’m sure.

Sorry for being a noob, but what setting in the xml changes the distance 

@Splodge123 we’re all noobs in the beginning :)

It says something like minr and maxr together with a number. That’s minimum and maximum radius.
