ELS suddenly stopped working for me today.  None of the lights work on any ELS cars except for the cruise lights and the flashing tail lights on the 3rd stage.  I tried reinstalling everything...ELS, car packs, scripthookV.  Nothing works. 

Everything was working fine yesterday and suddenly today it's not.

 

Any ideas?

Uninstall and reinstall the asi loader through OpenIV. Menu is located under the 'Tools' bar.

Tried this. Still not working. ELS cars work as if they are normal GTA vehicles, except without the proper lights.

What do you mean they work as if they are normal vehicles?  Do the headlights/tail lights just flash?

Sorry, I meant the Police lights work as if the vehicle is not ELS, even though it is. The headlights work, as do the taillights.

Did you install the correct VCF for the vehicle? and did you place said VCF in the pack_default folder?

I did. 

 

I know it doesn't work correctly because using my controller, I have to click the left stick in to turn the lights on, or press E on the keyboard. ELS uses RIGHT on the d-pad to change codes while clicking the stick activates the horn.

As for the cars, the headlights, tail lights and break lights all work  it's just the police lights that have the issue.  VCF files are all correct for each car, however it's happening on all my ELS cars.  It's weird, everything worked one day and the next it didn't.  I didn't add or change any other mods or scripts during that time either.

See, I did a completely clean reinstall of GTA5 and LSPDFR. So I only have what's needed to run the mod, ELS, and one ELS vehicle. So It's not an issue with a mod I already have.

Please post a screenshot of your GTA V directory.

Also please take one of your ELS folder, the pack_default folder, and link to the vehicles you're trying to use.

I use the 2011 CVPI, 2016 FPIS and the 2015 FPIU from this pack in my POLICE, POLICE2 and POLICE3 slots

I use the 2011 CVPI, 2013 Tahoe and 2013 FPIU in the SHERIFF, SHERIFF2 and FBI2 slots.

Please again do what Lundy originally recommended with uninstalling and reinstalling ASILoader and OpenIV.asi, except this time, after you reinstall, restart your computer.  This has always fixed it for everyone having this issue, myself included.
